Mission X 2010: Building Up
GENERAL INFORMATION SHEET
Overview: Mission X is a unique discipleship and mission opportunity for students in Middle School and High School. Students will learn how God has a purpose for them and how he calls them build up themselves, their peers, and the world around them, all in the love of Christ. Mission X participants will help build houses with Habitat for Humanity in Los Angeles, California. We will also be hosted by First Baptist Church of Los Angeles. At the end of the week, we will celebrate all of our hard work by going to Disneyland.
Cost: $375 per participant (subject to change). Through the Mission X Sponsor Program and various fundraising activities, we hope to raise enough money to send every student on Mission X who wants to go. Students will be required to help with all fundraisers.
Dates: Wednesday, July 7th – Friday, July 16th, 2009
Schedule: 7/7-8: Travel to Los Angeles
7/9-13: Service Projects, including Habitat for Humanity
7/14: Disneyland!
7/15-16 Travel to Oregon
