Morning Observations...
Water gathered.  Trash being dumped.  Women with gallon water buckets on their heads and goats cruising by.   Five gallon buckets coming to the water pump by the hundreds, bringing life giving water to surrounding families.  Chickens scratching, church bell ringing, rocks being crushed under a palm frong cover.  Food being sold from five gallon buckets.  Cell phones out, music playing, water running, bike being pushed with 10 gallons of water.

Super highway right through the river where stones for the quarry are being loaded on a burro.  Dug and dug a ditch behind the school building.  Haitian Woman broke her arm and was delivered by three U.S. citizens to a Cuban hospital.  Ronald interpreted, Christ's love was there.  For those living amongst the endless rubble, there is a pervasive sense of hope.  Life goes on in the aftermath of the tragedy as people slowly rebuild, live in tents and hang on to the gift of life.  98 degrees, sweat for a year and now a family of five have come with their buckets and containers for water.  When you drink today or wash your car with a five gallon bucket, remember our beautiful sisters and brothers in Haiti.
